Concern Avrora Scientific & Production Association JSC, the largest Russian devicemaking group specialising in automation of ships and nuclear objects, has opened its first oversees liaison office in Mumbai. The office will enable Indian customers to make indents for supply of spares and also to check out samples of the hi-tech products pertaining to automation of commercial ships, power facilities, objects of chemical, metallurgical, oil-and-gas extracting and
processing industries. The Russian firm also plans to set up production facilities. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Consul General of the Russian Federation in Mumbai H.E. Alexander V Mantytsky, chairman of Pipavav Shipyard Ltd Nikhil Gandhi, director general of Concern Avrora Konstantin Y Shilov.
