Simplification of forming the request procedure.

The specialists of the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC have developed the program enabling formation of the request for supply of SPTA and componentry as an electronic document. The program product is intended for simplification of forming the order and for speeding-up its processing. The form of request is generated automatically.
User-friendly and simple interface of the program permits foreign customers to form the request by means of choosing the required article from the represented list of SPTA for the systems, which were earlier supplied to the customers. The list of SPTA in electronic tables and photos of componentry and SPTA , which make it possible to identify  the articles, are enclosed to the developed program.
The developed software product is also available for the potential foreign customer at the liaison office of the Concern in Mumbai (India).

May 01, 2010 -The specialists of the Concern were deputed to India for carrying-out of repair works on 877EKM Project diesel-electric submarine of the Indian Navy.
At present the specialists of the Concern carry out the repair works successfully on 877EKM Project diesel-electric submarine of the Indian Navy. In the process of carrying-out the works the recovery of technical capability of the automated informational and control system will be provided.
Service and warranty maintenance of the automated facilities supplied to the Indian submarines of 877EKM Project is performed by the Concern in cooperation with FSUE Rosoboronexport

April 19,2010 - The meeting with the young specialists took place in the Service and warranty maintenance centre.
In April 2010 in SWMC the meeting of directorate with the young employees and graduates of the key institutions of higher technical education of St. Petersburg took place. During this event Director of Centre I.V. Bondarenko familiarized the young specialists with the history, directions of activity and future trends of development of SWMC.
I.V. Bondarenko in his speech noted that the Directorate of the Concern is interested in young specialists and emphasized the necessity of attracting the high-qualified, promising and purposeful staff. At present the Concern creates the optimal conditions for the beginners, including the career opportunities, stable salary and participation in implementation of new projects.

March 25, 2010 - In the Service and Warranty Maintenance Centre the great meeting was held, which was devoted to fortieth anniversary of the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC.
On the great meeting of SWMC, which was held in the context of celebration the fortieth anniversary from the day of foundation of Avrora Scientific and Production Association, the meeting with the veterans of the enterprise and with employees of the Centre took place.
The Director of SWMC Mr. I.V.Bondarenko congratulated warmly the collective and veterans with the fortieth anniversary of the successful research-and-production activity of the Avrora Scientific and Production Association, as well as expressed his thanks for the enormous contribution in forming and development of the enterprise.
In the context of the held meeting, some of the employees and veterans of the SWMC were awarded anniversary medals for their high professionalism and for the devotion to the enterprise.

January 20, 2010 - The meeting dedicated t 'Maintenance of control systems' took place at the Service and Warranty Maintenance Centre of the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC.
The leaders of the companies from Vladivostok, Murmansk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, Samara, St. Petersburg, Severodvinsk and Stavropol attended the meeting.
In the welcoming speech the General Director of the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC Mr. K.Y. Shilov informed the present about the priority tasks in implementation of the after-sale maintenance strategy for the Concern's products, separately mentioning the key role of the Service and Warranty Maintenance Centre in solution of the tasks to be fulfilled.
The Director of the Service and Warranty Maintenance Centre Mr. I.V. Bondarenko reported about the prospects, current situation and the issues of current importance in this field. The participants of the meeting were informed about the basic principles and comprehensive approach of the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC to the technical maintenance of Concern's products, as well as about inclusion of the Concern into the list of sole suppliers as a main contractor for a number of works on the Russian Navy ships.
During the meeting Mr. I.V. Bondarenko intimated the results of analysis of potential subcontractors' capabilities in different regions of the country and defined the concept of maintenance of the Concern's products with participation of third-party organizations. Mr. Bondarenko emphasized the importance of rendering complete range of services of appropriate quality to the equipment operators and mentioned, that SWMC is to organize (on the basis of a contract) the training of specialists and further certification of the companies, which are planning to provide maintenance of the Concern's products.
In connection with tightening of quality specifications of the works being fulfilled, it is recommended to the organizations, which concluded state contracts for maintenance of the products manufactured by the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC, to attract the Service and Warranty Maintenance Centre to the technical support and repairs.

17.12.2009 -examination of the 'Lama - EKM' systems of the Indian diesel-electric submarines is finalized.
At the Indian shipyard examination of the systems manufactured at the Concern and installed on the three objects of the Indian Navy is finalized.
At present the contract is being formed, in accordance with which the specialists of the Concern Avrora jointly with FSUE 'ROSOBORONEXPORT' will carry out repair and the necessary service maintenance on board the submarines.
Automated information and control 'Lama - EKM' system is intended for automation of combat activities on board diesel-electric submarines of 877 EKM and 636 projects. AICS have been serially manufactured by the Joint Stock Company Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association since 1999.

At the base of FSUE 'Atomflot' a special site for recovery and repair of the component parts of the atomic icebreaker's control systems was opened on the December 3, 2009
Within the framework of the events, which are dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the icebreaker 'Lenin'- the first atomic icebreaker in the world, a special site for recovery and repair of the automatics of atomic icebreakers was opened at the base of FSUE 'Atomflot'.
Creation of the repair site is a result of combined work of the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC and FSUE 'Atomflot', fulfilled in accordance with the earlier signed agreement on service maintenance of the atomic icebreaker's control systems.
The created special repair site is equipped with the necessary technological rigging and tools, which allow to carry out the technical supervision, repair and modernization of the products at the place where the ships are based, providing the servicing of the technically sophisticated equipment during the whole operation life.

20.11.2009 - The separate subdivision of the SWMC (Gadzhijevo) is awarded the diploma of submarine squadron commander.
The separate subdivision of the Service and Warranty Maintenance Center, situated in the Murmansk region and dealing with the day-to-day maintenance of ship automatics, is awarded the diploma of the submarine squadron commander for great contribution to ensuring the readiness of the Northern Fleet ships and submarines.
In the gratifying letter the conscientious and self-denying labor is noted of the service site specialists under the leadership of the resident representative in the Northern Fleet A.A. Korsun.
Location of the special site for repair of control systems of ship's technical facilities at their base ensures high level of quality of the services being rendered, which is confirmed by the reports of the customers.

October 17, 2009 - service maintenance of automatic systems on the objects of the Indian Navy.
In accordance with the contract, signed with the FSUE 'Rosoboronexport', the specialists of the enterprise are sent to India for fulfillment of works on examination of Lama-EKM systems, installed on three objects of Indian Navy.
As per the results of conducted flaw detection the conditions will be defined, which fulfillment is required to ensure high-quality and uninterrupted operation of the equipment. The contract shall envisage fulfillment of repair on these objects, supply of SPTA and materials, as well as providing of necessary technical consultations.

October 1, 2009 - Students from the institutes of higher education at practical work at the Service and Warranty Maintenance Center (SWMC).
Group of students of the leading technical institutes of higher education, including the V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin) Saint-Petersburg State Electro-Technical University and Saint-Petersburg State Maritime Technical University, is admitted to pregraduation practice at the Service and Warranty Maintenance Center.
In the process of practice the students will prepare their graduation projects in the field of repair, bench tests and support of operation of technical facilities' control systems. Heads of departments and groups, who have academic degrees of PhD in Technical Science, fulfill the tasks of tutors in practical training of future specialists.
According to guys who do the practical training, most of them are planning to link their professional life with the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC. Increasing scope of the SWMC works allow to attract young and promising specialists.

August 18, 2009 - 1 year ago the Service and Warranty Maintenance Center (SWMC) of the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association was created.
One year ago, on August 18, the SWMC was created.
At the celebratory meeting Director of SWMC I.V. Bondarenko congratulated the team of specialists of the Center on the anniversary and expressed his gratitude for their proficiency and persistence in achieving of the set goals. At the meeting the results were reviewed of the Center's operation in the course of the year, and priority areas were determined for the SWMC development during the years to come.

On July 30-31, 2009, at the base of the main company of the JSC Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association the meeting of the Board of Directors was held with participation of the enterprises participating in development and manufacturing of automated control systems of ships and vessels.
Among the issues discussed at the meeting of the Board of Directors, which was held at the territory of the main company with participation of the JSC Varyag, JSC Neptun, JSC SUIP, ZAO Komponent-ASU, ZAO Avro-MKS, ZAO Sistema-Lizing, OOO NPK Optima and OOO Nautilus, the issues were considered pertaining to organization of servicing the systems of ship automatics.
As a result of the meeting, the Service and Warranty Maintenance Center (SWMC) of the Concern was authorized to coordinate the activities and agree upon the works of the enterprises on service and warranty maintenance of the articles within the product range of the Concern, installed on the surface ships and submarines of the customer.To improve the efficiency of equipment maintenance the meeting of the interested organizations will be held at the territory of the JSC Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association in September 2009 with the purpose to discuss the proposals for coordination of works on servicing of the systems manufactured by the Concern.

As per the decision taken by the Board of Directors for implementation of common politics during interaction with foreign partners, it is recommended to the enterprises which carry out repairs and modernization of control systems, as well as supply of spare parts in the interests of a foreign customer, to agree upon the contractual positions with the Service and Warranty Maintenance Center.

July 9, 2009 - 8 years ago the joint Russian-Indian enterprise Avrora (India) Marine Systems Pvt. Ltd. was established.On July 9, 2009 - 8 years have passed since the Russian-Indian enterprise Avrora (India) Marine Systems Pvt. Ltd. was established in 2001 by the FSUE Avrora Corporation Science & Production and Krasny Marine Pvt. Ltd. companies.The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Igor V. Bondarenko has congratulated the directors of AIMS on the anniversary and indicated that during the period of its operation the enterprise made significant contribution to the development of Russian-Indian cooperation in the field of technical support of sea objects and proved to be a reliable and efficient partner.Today, Avrora (India) Marine Systems Pvt. Ltd. intends to develop further the level of interaction with potential partners, to expand the areas of its activity and to increase the efficiency of the services being rendered

June 29th, 2009 - Meeting of the Board of Directors of Russian-Indian joint venture Avrora (India) Marine Systems Pvt. Ltd. Meeting of the Board of Directors of Russian-Indian joint venture Avrora (India) Marine Systems Pvt. Ltd. (AIMS) was convened on 29 June 2009.In the meeting, the Board of Directors heard out report of Mr. G.K.K.Nair, the Managing Director of the Company, on results of AIMS activities for the Ist half of 2009, and also discussed potential vectors of development of Avrora (India) Marine Systems Pvt. Ltd.The Board of Directors has approved of the Concept of the Company Development, which sets out purposes, tasks, principles and priority vectors of activities for AIMS.At the same time, the directors emphasized importance of services offered by the Company, and noted positive trends in ongoing cooperation between Avrora (India) Marine Systems Pvt. Ltd. with foreign partners.


June 9th, 2009 - an agreement was signed with FSUE Atomflot about service maintenance of the nuclear icebreakers control systems. On June 9th, 2009, the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC and FSUE Atomflot signed an agreement about service maintenance of the technical facilities control systems (TFCS) of the nuclear icebreaker fleet. In accordance with the signed agreement, the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC is the main executor of works with regard to organization and performing of service maintenance including development and supply of repair documentation, support of exploitation and technical supervision, repair, modernization, as well as supplies of component parts and SPTA for the TFCS of nuclear-powered ships and nuclear propulsion plants. In accordance with the conditions of the agreement, the specialists of the concern will also establish the specialized area on the basis of the FSUE Atomflot equipped with the required technological fitment and tools. The developed and proven technologies of organization of proprietary maintenance implemented by the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC will make it possible to ensure the specified service life of the devices and systems of the nomenclature of the Concern and to modernize the existing facilities, if required, as well as to improve effectiveness, reliability and safety of the nuclear icebreakers being currently in service.

FSUE Atomflot is the only Russian enterprise which ensures exploitation, repair and maintenance of nuclear icebreakers and auxiliary fleet ships. FSUE Atomflot is responsible for all ships of the nuclear icebreaker fleet (Arktika, Sibir, Rossiya, Taimyr, Sovetsky Soyuz, Vaigach, Yamal, 50 Let Pobedy, Sevmorput). According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, The FSUE Atomflot is included in the list of enterprises, in relation to which the State Corporation Rosatom holds the authorities of the property owner on behalf of the Russian Federation.
The FSUE Atomflot and the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC have the experience of the long-term cooperation - starting with the 1970-ies (Avrora Scientific and Production Association ensured the development of the automation systems of the nuclear propulsion plants for the second-generation nuclear icebreaker Arktika), the enterprises have been cooperating in the sphere of constructing all civil nuclear-powered ships.

July 1st, 2009 - a separate specialized area for automatic facilities repair was established within the SWMC in Murmansk region.
In the framework of implementation of the Concern Avrora Scientific and Production Association JSC service network development and expanding, a detached division of the Service and Warranty Maintenance Centre (SWMC) was established in Murmansk region on July 1st, 2009. A specialized separate area for repair of technical facilities control systems manufactured by the Concern will provide the entire range of service and warranty maintenance for the automatic facilities of the Northern Navy ships at their basing sites. The specialized area has the required equipment and high-skilled personnel which ensure prompt reception and registration of enquiries and consulting on the issues of hardware and software exploitation and configuring.
The comfortable location of the SWMC division in close vicinity to the object to be supported and establishing the safety stock of SPTA, component parts and materials will make it possible to perform the required work at the earliest and to interact with the customers of the region with the best possible effectiveness.

April 1st, 2009 - the department of test-bench trials was established within the SWMC. For adjustment and testing of the technical facilities control systems, the department of test-bench trials is established within the structure of the SWMC. The main purpose of the department is the development of the test benches and the technical support of the adjustment and testing of the control systems of various-purpose ships. The specialists of the department develop of design documentation of the sets of testing facilities with the maximum possible unification of the technical solutions, as well as the software complex.
