Special trainers and trainer complexes

Avrora Corporation S&P has been developing a wide nomenclature of technical facilities for training the personnel of all projects of submarines, naval surface ships and ships of the Russian nuclear-powered fleet and also special trainers, trainer complexes and automated training systems based on state-of-art computing facilities.

The special trainers ensure training of operators that covers the full scope of their responsibilities, they instruct the operators in proper acting in case of emergencies and abnormal situations, as well as under the conditions of time constraints and lack of information.

The trainer complexes provide training of the crew along with full coverage of application of technical facilities, as well as damage control on board the ship in case of emergencies. At the same time training of an operator covers the extensive scope of electromechanical specialities including the main power plant, electric system, general ship's systems, spatial maneuvering facilities and packaged objects of the widest variety of purposes.

Application of the new technology of manufacturing trainers and, in particular, use of input/output modules makes it possible to reduce the hardware component, simplify the intersystem connections inside a trainer and minimize the length of cable paths.

The extensive spectrum of the instructor's workstation capabilities makes it possible to obtain the current data characterizing the level of skills of an operator, individualize the training process taking in consideration the personal qualities of a specialist, focusing at perfection of the intellectual skills essential in decision-making process.
